William Lowther enlisted at Bury, Lincolnshire with 'D' Company 1/5th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers. Entering the war in France after 1916 he was listed as 'wounded and missing' on 6 September 1917 and later listed as killed in action.

Edward Henry Sayer served with the 4th Battalion, Grenadier Guards.

Albert William John Yates was a native of Exeter and enlisted there in March 1917. Serving in France through the rest of the war, he was demobilised on 9 November 1919.

Charlie Yates entered the war in the Balkans on 8 August 1915 with the 1/4th Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment and was discharged on 18 February 1919.

Hugh Yates entered the war in the Balkans on 6 June 1915 with the 1/5th Battalion, Royal Scots Fusiliers and ended the war with the unit as a Sergeant.
