Great War Bronze Memorial Plaque (Robert Charles Hodson) good very fine

Robert Charles Hodson served in France from 8 April 1916. He was killed in action on 8 May 1917, aged 29, whilst serving as a 2nd Lieutenant with the 279th Railway Company, Royal Engineers. He was buried in the Nine Elms Military Cemetery, Thelus, France. He was the son of Charles William Hodson. C.S.I. and Maria Hodson. His sister applies for his Medals on 7 February 1922.
