Victory Medal 1914-19 (15152 Pte. G. Rayment. D. Of Corn. L.I.), some light verdigris, otherwise very fine

George Rayment was born in Holborn and enlisted in Hampstead. Serving in France from 22 September 1915, he was killed in action in the Balkans on 25 April 1917 whilst serving with the 8th Battalion. Rayment is commemorated on the Doiran Memorial, Greece.
