Registered in 1885 to lay out grounds for county cricket alongside the North Staffordshire Railway Hotel in Stoke on Trent. Portions of the land were also used for tennis, football, fives and rackets. County matches were played there for many years until the grounds closed before WWII. VF and scarce.
