A rare 1918 Auxiliary Omnibus Company M.M. awarded to Private F. E. Palmer, Army Service Corps (Motor Transport)

M.M. London Gazette 16 July 1918.

Frederick Earle Palmer entered the war in France on 20 September 1915 with the Army Service Corps (Motor Transport). Posted to the 15th Auxiliary Omnibus Company Palmer was one of those awarded the Military Medal in recognition for the efforts of the bus companies in providing reinforcements to the front during the German Spring Offensive. He was discharged on 6 August 1919; sold together with copied research including M.I.C., Military Medal award card and London Gazette entry as well as an entry in in the Gloucester Journal.
