M.M. London Gazette 19 March 1918.

Andrew Macdonald, a native of Gowan, won his M.M. whilst serving with the 5th Battalion, Cameron Highlanders attached to the 26th Trench Mortar Battery. He latterly served with the Royal Engineers.
