John David Jenkinson was commissioned Pilot Officer from the rank of Aircraftman Class II on 10 March 1953 with the Fighter Control Branch of the Royal Air Force. Further advanced Flying Lieutenant on 12 February 1955 he was later transferred to the General Duties (Ground) Branch. Advanced Squadron Leader on 6 July 1971 while still serving with this branch and finally Wing Commander on 10 January 1978; sold together with copied London Gazette extracts.
