Harold Dolman was born at Derby on 28 June 1896. Enlisting on 9 December 1915 he was mobilised on 31 March 1916 and posted to 3/4th North Midlands Howitzer Brigade, Royal Field Artillery (Territorial Force) on 1 April 1916. Entering the war in Salonica on 3 February 1917 Dolman was transferred to 98th Brigade R.F.A. Headquarters on 27 May 1917 just after the Brigade's involvement in the Battle of Doiran. Continuing to serve with 4th Reserve Brigade he later re-designated as a Signaller, demobilised on 19 March 1919; sold together with copied research including M.I.C., medal roll and Service Records.
