1873 Watermark Lozenges, with 'INVICTA' in Double-Lined Capitals four times in the sheet
1873 (Oct.) envelope from Wanganui "via Brindisi" to Lichfield, bearing 2d. vermilion (2, in contrasting shades) used in combination with 1871 perf. 12½ 6d. pale blue, each neatly cancelled "8" and showing , on reverse, three indistinct transit c.d.s.; the envelope with trivial imperfections though a very rare franking of the 10d. rate. Few examples of the Invicta watermark are known on cover. Holcombe Certificate (1988). S.G. 142
