1860s-1893 small collection of used stamps starting with General issues used in Tahiti, some 1893 overprints including a 75c. (S.G. 42) on registered "Gastiger" cover to Paris, and a 25c. lettercard to England via San Francisco with interesting content claiming that 1c.,2c. and 4c. are unobtainable and that other values exist in only very limited quantities, an unusual group worth a direct inspection .
