1906 (6 March) local Papeete envelope franked by a "cut out" from a 5c. postal stationery envelope, the use of which was authorised from 5-8 March owing to the current 5c. stamps being destroyed by flooding of the Post Office; a little stained which is most likely natural. A very rare cover.
