U.S.A.: American Anti-Incrustation Company, PA, $50 preferred shares, 187[0], #16, paddle steamer in centre, black and red, adhesive stamp at left is missing. Incorporated in 1866 to work a device for removing scale from steam boilers, not just in steamships but also railroad engines. The Pennsylvania Railroad Company contracted with the company to use the device on all their locomotives in 1866. AVF.
