1888 (17 July) envelope from the postmaster, Jac. Duiven, to Holland, bearing 1886-87 2d. ("4 jan 87") on blue granite paper without embossed Arms tied by superb "vryheid" oval d.s. in violet, in combination with Natal 1863 6d. and 1886 2d. on 3d. (defective) tied by Natal c.d.s., showing fine sender's circular cachet in violet, "T" and "5d" in circle and, on reverse, Helpmakaar (23.7), London (21.8) and arrival datestamps; the 2d. with some lightly stained perfs and the envelope a little ragged at right through opening.
