1/- rose-pink and blue Die 1, a complete used reconstruction (5x5) with Type 1A overprints, much above average quality and largely free of faults, all with four margins except two which are just touched and [4] and [15] show marginal selvedge. A rare accomplishment. S.G. 34, £5,000

Note: The sheets of 100 of the first and second printings comprised the block of 25 printed four times, the overprint added at a second operation from a block of 50 in two groups of 25 (Types 1A and 1B), printed two times to complete the sheet. This correctly plated reconstruction of 25 with Type 1A overprints is the only one that has ever been achieved.
