1867 (26 Jan.) envelope to Manchester with manuscript "Recommandirt" across the top, bearing Saxony 1863 2ngr. blue and 5ngr. dull violet tied by boxed Chemnitz despatch datestamp in black, with boxed "Recomandirt" in red with rate marks in blue, boxed "P.D." with the associated crowned "registered" in red, a faint strike of the standard London registered dated oval with a fine strike of "prussia/registered" around crown (A&H 1499) and, on the reverse, the Manchester registered dated oval (29.1) along with three wax seals. Trivial nick in top left corner. A good cover which shows five different registration marks. Signed Bühler. James van der Linden Certificate (1996)
