1866 (27 Feb.) stampless wrapper to Rothschild in London bearing Chemnitz despatch datestamp, boxed "Recomandirt" in red and boxed "Recommandirt" in blue, rate marks in blue, italic "P.D." and crowned "registered" in red plus the standard-type London registered oval datestamp (1.3) code "B" and a good strike of the "prussia/registered" around crown in red (A&H 1499), there is an indistinct transit datestamp on the reverse. Horizontal filing crease and the top flap has been removed. Clean and attractive
