Much has been written about these interesting stamps over the years, most recently by Otto Peetoom in his magazine "The Rhodesian Philatelist". Potential buyers may care to look at issues 3, 26, 29, 36 and 41 for an in depth analysis of these stamps

1959 (20 June) envelope from an unknown office to Salisbury, bearing 1d. blue with double-ring datestamp and upon arrival with manuscript "T1d" in blue ink and bearing 1d. blue handstamped in violet and cancelled with under-inked Delivery Room ? datestamp for 21 June, the upper left corner with manuscript "1d. Pd from Case Dist"; very rare. Signed "This is genuine" with an unknown signature. Photo
