1840-83 a balance collection housed in six ring binders, albums or stock books including a mixed group of mint and used stamps 1841-84 all lettered 'LB' including 1840 entire to Northumbria bearing 1d. black, 1841 1d. red cancelled by clear Maltese Cross numbered '8', another cancelled by two strikes of a blue Maltese Cross, various plate numbers, some in blocks, 1858-76 2d. blue plate 7 mint, some faults, 1865-67 4d. deep vermilion plate 11, mint, 1867-80 2/- blue used (2), 1880-83 1/- orange-brown plate 13, mint with horizontal crease,1883-84 2/6d. lilac on white paper, large part original gum and 5/- used; other albums with various values including 1840 1d. black mint single (cut into) and used (3), a range of 1870-79 ½d. red, lower value KGV, KGVI and QEII, two folders of QEII First Day Covers 1953-83, and a small group of GB used abroad.
