1840-78 postal history collection in three albums or stock books including 1840 (27 Aug.) entire to Inverness bearing 1d. black (Plate II) with good to tight margins tied by fine red Maltese Cross, 1d. black entire with possible blue Maltese Cross, 1864 envelope to Gibraltar bearing 1862-64 1/- green, marked 'Via France' and with framed 's' marking to denote travel via Spain, one album of 1d. red covers (160+), one to Hertfordshire with an illustration of a horse, a green stock book of 1881 1d. lilac used on cover with one mourning envelope to New Brunswick bearing 1d. pair and ½d., some covers with control numbers, 1875 envelope to New Brunswick bearing 6d. grey, and one stock book of 1970s official markings cut from mail.
