Africa General Service 1902-56, 1 clasp, Somaliland 1902-04, bronze issue (Syce Barkat-Ali, 5th Gurkha Rifs.), very fine and rare

No Gurkha regiment served in Somaliland, or indeed Africa, until the Second World War. This Medal and clasp is therefore likely unique to a Gurkha follower, who perhaps served as Groom for the horse of a British Officer who served on attachment during the campaign.
