(x) China 1900, 1 clasp, Relief of Pekin (21607 Drvr F. D. Stent 12th Batry. Rl. Fd. Artry.), officially re-engraved naming, very fine

Frederick Daniel Stent was born at Long Sutton, Basingstoke, Hampshire in 1877 and was a groom by trade upon his enlistement in the Royal Artillery at Guildford on 6 August 1897. Stent served in India from 9 November 1898-1 July 1900, before going on campaign to China from 2 July-18 December 1900, thence returning to India for a second time from 19 December 1900-23 November 1906. He was discharged with his Medal on 5 August 1909; sold together with copied service record and medal roll.
