1956 (4 Jan.) envelope sent airmail registered to Shanghai bearing Liberation of Tibet set of four (C13) tied by Gyantse type 3 c.d.s., the reverse with part of the registration receipt, Lhasa 6 type T5 c.d.s. in black (11.1, "11" inverted) and Shanghai arrival (29.1).


The Lhasa postmark is rare in this colour (usually recorded in blue) and there are only a few examples of the inverted number. Photo


1956年1月4日江孜寄上海航空掛號封, 貼解放西藏票一套四枚 (C13), 銷江孜3型日戳, 封背留有部份掛號收據, 拉薩1月11日 ("11" 倒置) 黑色 6型 T5 日戳, 及1月29日上海到達戳. 這種黑色的拉薩郵戳頗罕見(通常記錄為藍色), 同時倒置日期的例子亦少見.
