1952 (4 Apr.) NATO first day cover to Gyantse bearing pair of the U.S. 3c. NATO stamps tied by Washington machine postmark, the reverse bearing 2/3 tr. strip of three in indigo [10, 11, 5] tied by Gyantse type 2 postmark plus 1tr. bright orange (not cancelled) plus a part strike of Gyantse Br. P.O. (5.6) c.d.s.; there are a couple of wrinkles and some light ageing, a good 3tr. franking though the rate at the time should have been 4tr. Photo
