1955 (5 Nov.) envelope registered to Nepal addressed in English and Nepali bearing black on white registration label of Gangtok, Sikkim and bearing, on the reverse India 1a. (9) tied by Gangtok c.d.s. and a strike of "indian embassy (nepal)" c.d.s. (8.11). The Gyantse office of the Nepalese legation was relocated because of the Nyang Valley flooding during 1954. Addressed to Singha Durbah, Kathmandu where the Ministry for Tibetan Affairs was located. Three wax seals of the Indian Embassy (formally the British legation).
