1933 (3 Apr.) a cover from the first successful flight to Mrs E. Colston Shepherd in London bearing India 8½a. franking tied by fine strikes of the special circular Purnea datestamp in purple (Waterfall IX), the flap with printed "raj darbhanga" in black, the three-line special handstamp (Waterfall X) in purple and manuscript, "Certified as carried over Mount Everest, April 3, 1933 McIntyre" (One of the two pilots). Very fresh and fine. Only 25 covers carried. Photo

1933年4月3日經額峯首次成功航班寄英國Mrs E. Colston Shepherd 封, 貼印度8½a. 郵資, 銷較清晰紫色Purnea日期戳 (Waterfall IX), 封舌上印有黑色 "raj darbhanga" 字樣, 紫色三線持別戳記, 上寫 "Certified as carried over Mount Everest, April 1933 McIntyre" 两位飛行駕駛員之一, 保存非常良好. 這次飛行只携帶了25封信函, 故而珍罕.
