Neil Michael Segger, a native of Redruth, Cornwall, served with 45 Commando during the Falklands War. Having participated in their famous 'yomp' across East Falkland, they fought the Battle of the Two Sisters on the night of 11-12 June 1982. Following their victory, the enemy surrendered on 14 June and Stanley was recaptured.
