Hugh Warnock was born at Bangor, County Down on 17 June 1893 and was a book keeper by trade upon his enlistment - aged 43 years 10 months - at Belfast on 17 April 1917. He served with the Plymouth Division at Rouen from 2 May 1917-31 December 1918 and was promoted Acting Corporal on 17 April 1919 and was discharged on 30 June 1919, his address being noted at Clarence Street, Edinburgh; sold with his pressed card Identity Tag stamped 'H Warnock Pte RMLC CE' and copied service record.
