M.M. London Gazette 21 October 1916.

Tom A. Scott won his M.M. for the period of July-August 1916 in the Battle of the Somme, when his Battalion served as Pioneers to the 2nd Division. Scott who was promoted to Corporal around this time, was then admitted to the 149th Field Ambulance on 22 October 1916, suffering from defective vision. He also saw service as a Corporal (No.58701) with the King's Royal Rifle Corps, and as a Corporal (No.581703) with the Labour Corps; sold with copied MIC.
