1663 (16 April) warrant from Thomas Wriothesley, Earl of Southampton, as Lord Treasurer to Sir Robert Long Bart, William Wardour and others to pass debentures of: £100 for half year's fee due to James Darcy, Master of the Royal Studs, and at Christmas last past £400 for half year's allowance for provision of horses to 25 March past, and to strike tallies for both sums on Major Norton.
