Great Britain: Woking, Aldershot & Basingstoke Canal & Navigation Co. Ltd., £50 debenture, 1898[9], #146, of only 200 issued, large format, black, 4 pages. The old Basingstoke Canal which had been built in 1778 was acquired by Sir Frederick Hunt in 1895 to handle the growth of the brick and timber trade in the area. Declined and sold in 1905. VF and rare type.
