1942 (15 May) envelope to Singapore, bearing on reverse 1934-41 4c. bright purple (2), cancelled with Kuching c.d.s., showing "sarawak constabulary/ licence kuching office" h.s., opened and resealed by Japanese censor who applied oval chops to back and front in violet, with rectangular blue chop on face. A rare and important cover, believed to be the earliest recorded from occupied Kuching.. Superb. Photo
