1942 (2 May) 2c. green on buff postal stationery postcard, addressed to Penang, uprated with 2c. dull green, neither card or stamp with occupation overprint,, cancelled with "general post office/ alorstar kedah" c.d.s., face also showing "dai nippon/ g.p.o penang" arrival mark (4.5) and indistinct commemorative cancel. Fine an extremely rare usage of pre-war stock in the occupation period. Photo
