1941 (13 Jan.) envelope from Baghdad to New York, marked "Pan-American Transatlantic Air Service", franked at 135f., flown by BOAC to Singapore where it was censored and "g" and "1" sorting marks were applied, then ship to Manila and by Clipper to USA; 1941 (1 Dec.) envelope from Sydney to Manila, franked at 1/4d., flown by Qantas to Singapore where "to be forwarded by/air from singapore" applied, but due to war conditions marked "no service" and returned to sender; and 1942 (1 Dec.) envelope from Colombo, Ceylon, to Chicago, franked at 4r.25,, by air to Singapore where "to be forwarded by/air from singapore" applied, however the last Clipper flight left on 29 November 1941, so it was carried by Qantas to Sydney, TEAL to Auckland, and from there by ship to USA.
