On 2 May 1941 PAA substituted Singapore for Hong Kong in alternate weeks as the western terminus for their Trans-Pacific services. The return flight left Singapore on 12 May and went via Manila, Guam and Honolulu to San Francisco
1941 (10 May) Selangor 2c. stationery card and a commercial (rare) envelope (stains) carried on first return flight from Singapore to California, the former uprated 73c. and the latter franked at $1.45, both with Censor cachet and the former with "arrived safely" label
