(only five despatches went at the 56c. rate); 1933 (23 Mar.) envelope from Penang to Edinburgh, marked "By Alor Star - Amsterdam Air Mail" and franked at 58c.; and 1934 (17 Jan.) 6c. stationery envelope from Penang to London, marked "By Air Mail Alor Star - Amsterdam" and uprated 47c.
