1929 (20 May) envelope registered from Singapore to California, marked "via India, Europe and New York", franked at 41c., showing "by air mail" etiquette at right, Singapore registration label at lower left and, on reverse, Penang (22.5), London (16.6), New York (26.6) and arrival (28.6) datestamps; the envelope with some light overall soiling. The earliest recorded Malayan airmail cover carried on the Karachi-London service, and nearly three months before the first acceptance of Malayan airmail by this Karachi-London service in August 1929.
