Coloured picture postcard ("The first Aeroplane Flight, March 1911, Singapore"; published by Koh & Co.) depicting the Bristol biplane of M.J.Christiaens flying over the racecourse, carried by crewmember, Wally Shields, on the flight from Singapore to Australia, 6 December 1919, for Miss (Lena) Alford, later Mrs Shields. The message reads "I am tru to you, Lena dearest, Don't give away, This is one of the early type air machine, From Wall". The card later endorsed by Wally Shields, "Brought down from Singapore per Vickers Vimy, Wall Shields". The only card recorded from Malaya. Ceremuga Certificate (2017). Photo
