Pair of permits, the first issued March 1935, for Keetmanshoop Municipality bearing 1/6d. "native revenue" black on pink, (26) with a further six for later months in a different design, blank months endorsed in manuscript with an explanation of why no fee was due, the second card for Luderitz, January to June 1948 paid with Native Revenue 3/- blue surcharged in manuscript to pay 4/6d. rate, before the card was completed with 4/6d. black on buff to June 1950. An attractive and extremely rare pair of cards, the Keetmanshoop card selected for the cover of the 2016 handbook. Photo
