a92, dated 29 Dec. 1843, to Great Yarmouth and cancelled by a good strike of the number "10" in Maltese Cross, Yarmouth-Norfolk c.d.s. on the front and signed Joseph Hume at lower left (Scottish radical politician 1777-1855); a small portion of the flap has been replaced on the reverse, otherwise; very fine and uncreased. One of only four examples of this number in Cross recorded by Rockoff and Jackson. Specialised £12,000. Photo
