Burma - Japanese occupation peacock overprints extensive specialist collectors stock of many hundreds of mostly mint and some used singles, blocks and multiples and varieties identified and arranged in two large stockbooks, replete with better items including (mint unless noted) S.G. #J2 mint and used, J3 sub-types 1-4 and a block with horizontal gutter, J4 (2), J6 sub-types 1-4, plus two more with BPA and RPS certificates, J6a with BPA certificate, J7 (3) and one used, J8 (10), plus blocks of four and eight, J9 (14) and a block, J10 (8), J11 (5), J12 (9), plus three blocks and a used block, J13 (6) and two blocks, J14 (8) and three blocks, J15 (23) and five blocks, J16 (11) and four blocks, J17 (7), J18, J19 (3), two with RPS certificates, J19a (2), J19b (6) and three blocks, J20 (6, five with RPS certificates) and two pairs, J22a corner block of sixteen (8x2), J23 used block (3), J23a (5), J24 (3), J25 (8, one BPA certificate), J26 (8) and a block, J27 (11), plus six blocks of four and a block of six, J27a (6), J28 (rare), J29 used (4) and two used blocks, J30 (16) and a used block, J31 (12) and six blocks, J32 (21), plus four mint and one used blocks, J33 (6), J34 (4) and one used, J35 (4) and J44 (2), one with RPS certificate, also included is an extensive study of many hundreds of forgeries, somewhat mixed condition with some no gum or small faults, most o.g., l.h., n.h. or used, fine-very fine; quite a few signed Milo Rowell or Adgey-Edgar and some ex-Pilcher or Slemons; by far the largest holding of these popular issues we have ever had the pleasure of offering and certainly a rare opportunity indeed.
