1895 (8 July) envelope to England, marked "letter enclosed with this was dated 8/7 1895" and bearing 1895 (Mar.) 4d. rose tied by small "british/mail/antananarivo" datestamp in violet (9.7) paying the inland postage, in combination with Natal 2½d. blue (affixed partially over top edge) cancelled by Durban datestamp (30.7) and paying the external postage, arrival datestamps (26.8); envelope with creasing and minor imperfections though a rare and colourful combination franking.
