Henry III (1216-1272), ‘Long Cross’ Coinage, Pennies (2), London, Phase 1, Class 1b, 1.41g, obv. i.m.1, hehricvs rex•ang around inner circle, crowned facing bust with beard within, three dots below crown, rev. lie ter ci’ loh around inner circle, voided long cross to edge, three pellets in each angle, well struck, toned, very fine, another, 1.39g, obv. i.m.1, henricvs rex•ang, five dots below crown, rev. lie ter ci’ lvh, light wear with a dark tone, nearly very fine (N.984;S.1359; Stewartby Ib, the first pl.3/52 this coin), both rare (2)
