#E3a var, 1904 15c on 15c Ultramarine special delivery, new setting with more space above and below "INLAND" double surcharge, unlisted variety in both Scott and Gibbons where both catalogs list the double surcharge only as both inverted, used, neat thimble 1904 c.d.s., couple shorter perfs. at top, otherwise fine and rare. It is recommended to the purchaser that this stamp be submitted for expertization at the BPA in London in order to clarify catalog listings (S.G. #E3b var).
