1842 (27 August) a Grant of Arms on vellum to William Sharp "of Claybury, Brewsters, Maxwells and Haynesfield, all in the Island of Barbados", with the Coat of Arms including " ... three Demi-Lions erased counterchanged ..." and headed with the the Royal Arms and those of Sir Charles George Young, Knight Garter, and Joseph Hawker Clarenceux King of Arms, with each of their seals at foot in red wax, set in brass skippet (fine impressions); in exceptionally fine condition. Housed in its original presentation box with three gold royal cress impressed into the lid; the paper hinge has torn and there is some ageing but still in a good state of preservation. Photo
