1900-01 an extensive collection based on the German forces with a very good selection of stampless military covers, some bearing the boxed handstamp "feldpostbrief" with examples from Shanghai including Chinese 1c. postal stationery cards (2), several picture post cards; Chefoo picture post cards (3); Hankow including a scarce picture post card of the Soldiers Camp near Hankow; a valuable selection of Peking with the scarce serif-letter "peking/deutsche post" circular cancellation type 6 (8), registered cover to Austria, China 1c. postal stationery card cancelled by Peking dated oval (2), a fine chromo-litho military card, picture post cards and other items. Also a group of original photographs with views of Peking including some enlargements of the Forbidden City, city gates in Peking, military personnel, local Chinese with some groups.
