King James II
1686 (23 June) an Exemplification of Common Recovery. A fine indenture on vellum with large printed head of the monarch with large initial capital, armorial animals and birds.
The recovery is by Samuel Westerne from Nathaniel Bard of one messuage, four gardens, 200 acres land, 30 meadow, 300 pasture, 20 wood, 20 marsh, 200 scrub and heath, in Milborne Port, Goathill, Henstridge Ash and Bowen in Henstridge, Dorset and Somerset. The seal tag has been cut, offered with fragments of the seal.
