James I (1603-25), third coinage 1619-25, Laurel, 8.95g, m.m. lis both sides, iacobvs d:g: mag: bri: fra: et hib: rex., fourth, laureate, draped bust left, value xx behind, rev. facia - m eos in gentem vnam, no stops, crowned, plain, square topped shield over long cross fleury, m.m. to left of crown (N.2114; Schneider 86; S.2638C), extremely fine, a most attractive and carefully struck piece with a beautiful old tone
