1855 (26 Mar.) entire letter from Panama via Cartagena to Bogota, marked "paid 4d" and showing a generally fine and light strike of the Colon Crowned Circle alongside oval-framed "cartagena/debe" and "1½" rate handstamp, superb double-arc datestamp across join on reverse; the Crowned Circle crossed by a filing crease though an early usage of this rare handstamp with only about six examples recorded.
