An early to recent collection in two stockbooks which includes 1840 1d. black (3) and 2d. blue with touched to good margins, 1841 with some covers, Penny Plates used with block of eight mint, ½d. block of four unused; Embossed set of three with fair to good margins; a useful selection of Surface Printed including 1867-80 10d. handstamped "specimen" type 2, 1867-83 5/- (2) one cancelled "C30" of Valparaiso, 10/- (perfin) and £1 postally used with registered barred oval cancellation, 1873-80 1/- plate 13 unused, 1880-81 5d. unused, 1881 1d. lilac 14 dots mint strip of three, 1883-84 2/6d. and 5/- mint, £1 brown-lilac watermark Crowns and watermark Orbs used, Jubilee set unused and £1 used, a selection of Postal Fiscals; K.E.VII including 2d. block of four mint, 2/6d. mint plus used with values to 10/- and £1; K.G.V with 1912-24 values to 1/- mint, 1918 2/6d. mint, 1924-26 block cypher set mint, 1929 P.U.C to £1 mint (toned), 1934-36 set to 1/- mint; some useful K.G.VI including 1948 Silver Wedding £1 in a mint sheet of twenty, some Postage Dues and Q.E. with issues to 1980's plus a few first day covers and others. Condition is a little mixed in places, however, a generally clean and desirable general collection
