The "Tick Bird" Flaw, Covers
1941 (22 Feb.) envelope from Kitwe to a member of the 1st. Rhodesian Regiment at Nairobi, bearing 1½d. carmine-red horizontal pair, the left-hand stamp with the flaw, and 1d. chocolate, all neatly cancelled by machine datestamp; the normal in the pair with a little foxing, otherwise fine. A great rarity on cover with only three examples believed recorded. Photo
